Job Description

Swenson Stone Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) with skills in natural stone estimating to join our team. This role combines estimating responsibilities with project management tasks, supporting our commercial and residential projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Natural Stone Estimating
• Accurately estimate material quantities, costs, and labor for natural stone.
• Collaborate with suppliers and fabricators to obtain pricing and specifications.
• Prepare detailed bids and proposals, aligning estimates with project budgets.
• Monitor market trends and stone technologies to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Project Management
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Oversee quality control for stone materials, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Support change management, reporting, and documentation processes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in natural stone estimating or project coordination (2-3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting between estimating and project management tasks.
