Salary: 30,000 - 35,000

Job Type: full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Customs Import Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ocean Export and be well-versed in customs clearance procedures, tariffs, and international regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant import operations, handling documentation, and liaising with customs authorities, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process import customs declarations for shipments arriving by sea.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs laws.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, and clients for timely clearance of goods.
• Review and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Calculate and apply duties and taxes accurately, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Monitor shipment progress and update clients on the status of their import shipments.
• Handle queries related to customs clearance, tariffs, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and communication.
• Support the Ocean Export team with any relevant cross-functional tasks.
