Shop Helper

Description:

Responsibilities:
• Perform light to moderate lifting (typically 40 lbs or less) to assist with material handling.
• Operate grinding equipment to prepare raw materials for production.
• Conduct inspections and take measurements of raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Organize tools and shop supplies to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Keep machines and the shop floor clean and organized.
• Be adaptable to perform varied tasks as needed to support overall shop operations.

Requirements:
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and operate machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours if needed.
