Corporate Accountant (work from home on Fridays)

Birmingham, Alabama

$60,000 - $70,000 (up to 35% bonus)

We are seeking a talented and driven Corporate Accountant to join our client’s finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

What you will do:

• Review bank transaction details and accurately record cash activities in the general ledger

• Process invoices through the accounts payable system and handle payments as needed daily

• Assist with preparing and delivering cash reports to executive officers on a weekly and monthly basis

• Complete monthly and quarterly checklist items to support the accounting close processes

• Maintain organized and relevant documentation to support accounting matters in public filings and internal financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience

• Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization

• Strong analytical, written communication, and interpersonal skills
