Senior Accounting Professional

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Professional to join our team at The McPherson Companies. As a key member of our Accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and budgeting. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Lead teams in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and implement financial analysis models to improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
