Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project Architect to lead projects from initial programming through construction administration. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with strong project management and client communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client relations, project management, and staff supervision, with the ability to energize and motivate a team. Key Responsibilities
• Manage architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Lead client communication, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and decisions.
• Oversee and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
• Supervise and collaborate with internal teams to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and documents.
• Travel to project sites as needed to oversee construction and ensure project quality.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture with a focus on project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required).
• NYS Professional Architectural License.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Experience with NYSED projects is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
• Commitment to professionalism and continued growth in the architectural field.
