Commercial Vehicle Driver Position

We are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver to join our team at Gold Star Foods, a leading food distributor to K-12 schools in the United States. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods to routes, making deliveries and pickups as needed.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive compensation package, we offer benefits that include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

About the Job:

• Safely operate a Commercial vehicle to transport goods to routes, making deliveries and pickups as needed.

• Load and unload cargo while maintaining a safe working environment.

• Read locations and road maps to ensure efficient routing and delivery schedules.

• Perform basic truck maintenance to prevent mechanical issues and ensure safety.

• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to identify potential issues.

• Meet delivery schedules while maintaining safe work practices.

• Properly track and document driving logs using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).

• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

• Previous experience in truck driving or related fields.

• Ability to handle physical workload and meet physical demands of the job.

• Ability to work in all types of weather and environments.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
