Tax Attorney

About the Company - I am currently working with a leading national law firm, who are actively looking to recruit an Attorney who specializes in tax to join their Kansas City office.

About the Role - This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex tax cases. Work with a variety of national and international clients to develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize their financial positions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Offer advice on fund formation, investment management transactions and partnership taxation. You will also be given the opportunity to assist with mergers & acquisitions and divestitures, as well as representing buyers and sellers in transaction tax matters.

Responsibilities -

Qualifications -
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of Missouri.
• 2+ year(s) of experience in tax law, ideally gained with a large law firm setting.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
