The successful candidate for this position will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance of locations and equipment. They will be responsible for performing maintenance on our dry cleaning machines, washers & dryers, boilers, air compressors, pressing equipment (dry cleaning & laundry), vacuums, and conveyors. The individual will also be required to perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule, as well as respond to any malfunctions in a timely manner. Electrical, HVAC, plumbing experience is necessary. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must have personal basic tool set.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance according to a regular schedule.

• Responds to equipment break down calls quickly to minimize down time.

• Involved in all equipment installations.

• Maintains parts inventory.

• May operate a truck to transport supplies and equipment.

• Maintain general building items such as, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, etc.

• Heavy periodic cleaning such as floor scrubbing, floor stripping, floor repainting, etc.

• Be able to use basic power tools.

• Responsible for answering after hour calls and may require going plant or out to store location.

• Work with other maintenance employees to ensure work areas are clean and maintained.

• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with all pertinent laws, rules and regulations.

• Report any unsafe condition of equipment or of work place to upper management.

• Perform such duties in connection with the job that may be assigned by upper management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
