Our client, a well-known legal firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team.

Responsibilities
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on matters related to labor law.
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
• Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and stay updated on current labor law developments.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in labor disputes.
• Develop strategies for handling labor-related issues and disputes.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with ethical obligations and company policies.
• Participate in professional development and networking activities to foster relationships with potential clients and stay abreast of industry trends.

Job Details

Required Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with DC Bar (or ability to waive in)
• 1-7 years of relevant experience in ERISA and employee benefits law
• Strong understanding of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
