Home-Based Database Administration Role

Nigel Frank International is partnering with a rapidly-growing retail organisation to find a skilled Database Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional to make a real impact from day one in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the maintenance and ongoing development of the organisation's data estate, using SQL skills to perform backups, disaster recovery planning, performance optimisation, and security.

This is a permanent role for UK residents only, offering a salary of up to £40,000 depending on level of experience. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, group life insurance, and pension.

Key responsibilities:
• Maintain databases through typical DBA duties
• Use Rivery to build data pipelines for data warehouse integration
• Liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Required skills and qualifications:
• Strong skills in SQL database querying, optimisation, and working with relational data models
• Experience with various DBA tasks including backups, disaster recovery planning, performance optimisation, and security
• Knowledge of Snowflake would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience with ETL tools would be beneficial
