Audit & Accounts manager (Practice) On site role

Job description
We are recruiting for an Accountancy Practice in North London. This role is on site in North London 5 days per week.

Salary will be in the range of c£60,000-£65,000pa plus bens.

The role will be involved with but not limited to the following:

Audit 50% of the time and Accounts/Tax Role

Extensive experience of preparing:
• Company Accounts
• Company Tax Returns
• Personal Tax Returns
• Experience of working with Outsourcers
• Audit

In terms of audit:
• Able to carry out the whole audit process, from planning to fieldwork to file completion
• Sufficiently experienced to be able to deal with high level audit issues but willing to complete the entire audit process themselves
• Fully acquainted with all the Audit Regulations
• Knowledge of IFRS Accounts desirable

Around c5 to 10 years of Practice Experience – managing audits from start to finish.

Ability to review and control work in progress (chargeable time)

Experience of Managing a Portfolio of Clients

Experience of managing deadlines

Capable of effective and professional communications with Clients (by phone/email/letter)

Happy to learn new Software Packages if applicable

Experience of communicating with HMRC and dealing with Tax Queries
