Job Summary:

Spencer - Richardson is partnering with a market leader in asset rental and sales in construction to find a highly skilled Bookkeeping and Accounting Professional. As one of the largest dealers in equipment rental and sales across the UK and Europe, they require an experienced professional to support their business growth and financial operations.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management. Key responsibilities include managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and resolving queries related to financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting, including financial statement preparation and record-keeping.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve queries and issues related to financial transactions, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Perform data entry tasks, maintain accurate records, and update financial databases.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department, processing invoices, and handling customer inquiries.
• Contribute to the development of financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasting models.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have active pursuit of ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualifications, extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting, proficiency in MS Excel, and strong analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, are essential for this position. In addition, you should possess the ability to maintain accuracy at high-volume tasks, natural problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25-£30k, death in service, enhanced pension, wellbeing incentives, and more. To be eligible, candidates must currently reside and work in the UK.
