Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' experience
A self-starter who is highly flexible, with good time management skills and will meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Advanced, strong proficiency with Excel, and especially pivot tables and database queries such as VLOOKUP, is essential to the position, as well as the ability to work with very large data sets
Strong aptitude for learning and working with accounting/ERP software programs, financial systems and databases
A creative problem solver that can continually improve our processes to automate manual data entry and move away from paper-driven processes to virtual and cloud-based processes
Demonstrated experience maintaining a high sense of confidentiality
Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for accuracy

Responsibilities
Ensuring that our general ledger is accurate and GAAP compliant and producing accurate and timely financial statements
Preparing monthly and annual financial close processes; ensuring accuracy of journal entries, performing account balance reconciliations, identifying and correcting errors and preparing financial statements
Recommending, implementing, and maintaining appropriate internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy of corporate financial data
Leading A/P, A/P and Customer Billing processes
Leading our annual external audit support efforts and working closely with our auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
Meticulously tracking all financial transactions associated with each of our projects, including purchase orders, change orders, invoices, project expenditures, WIP, and more
Support CFO with budgets and forecasts, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reporting
Identify areas for revenue opportunities and cost improvements
