Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js to design, develop, and maintain the server-side logic and infrastructure of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of back-end technologies, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development: Design and develop scalable and secure APIs and back-end systems using Node.js.

Database Management: Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of back-end applications.

Testing: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure application reliability and stability.

Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for the back-end architecture, APIs, and systems.

Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the overall skill development of the team.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).

Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

Proficiency in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and serverless architectures is a plus.

Understanding of security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, data encryption)
