The Estimator plays a crucial role in the company's success, responsible for preparing and estimating budget costs for construction projects, utilizing Conceptual Design and Value Engineering as needed. This role requires excellent people skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a strong track record in commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction, including labor and material costs
• Utilize Conceptual Design and Value Engineering as needed
• Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans
• Develop and manage estimates on multiple, simultaneous projects
• Work collaboratively with clients, owners, field personnel, and design teams, while also being able to work autonomously
Qualifications
• 5-7+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects
• B.S. in Construction Management or a related degree is Preferred
• Effective communication, attention to detail, ability to analyze and organize data in a timely manner
