Journeyperson plumber/gasfitter

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be capable of performing installations, repairs, and maintenance, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Perform heavy lifting as required for various plumbing tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for plumbing installations.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with relevant certifications.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
