Skills
Diploma in Mechanical engineering
• 3 years’ experience in operation and maintenance in a manufacturing background (Textile / Printing) with Experience in Mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and process set up.
• Should have experience of Gearboxes, Pumps, lubrication, replacing Motors, repair of precision machines, alignment, and adjustment and set up of machine after maintenance. Imported printing machine operation maintenance will be added advantage.
• Experience in LPG fired equipment such as boilers and ovens will be added advantage.
Diploma in printing technology
• 3 years Operation / maintenance experience in medium scale printing plant, either metal decoration, Newspaper, or other high speed lithography equipment.
• Hands on experience in operation and maintenance of high speed Imported Printing machines and Inkers.
• Experience in CTP plate making will be added advantage.
Knowledge
• Must be able to work shifts and able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
• Computer literacy and the ability to generate reports. Ability to read, understand and develop engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of Mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic components
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practises. Must be able to work with flammable liquids and knows to handle hazardous wastes.
