Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled video editor to work in both short and long formats. You will be taking footage from cross functional teams and editing it based on project specifications.

Responsibilities
• Edit short- and long-form videos for website and social media accounts
• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Take charge of video ideation and creation
• Ensure videos meet the cross functional teams specifications and guidelines
• Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots and Excellent storytelling skills
• Knowledge of video editing principles
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with teams from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Preferred Skills
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a demonstrable video editing ability having a strong portfolio
• Must have Graphic Designing Knowledge , experience will be added advantage
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications
• Graduate or Post Graduate
