Position: Jr VOIP Engineer

Location: Washington, DC-Hybrid

Duration: Contract

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Job Description

Experience: Must have 2 years of related experience managing voice networks, possessing basic skills and knowledge to manage handsets and devices for voice services.

Duties:

Performs administration of voice handsets and devices, enrolling, activating, and managing devices used to provide voice services.

Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications:

Experience with CS2100/ VoIP programming.

Experience with Service Now.

Identifying and escalating high-priority issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.

Ensuring that service level agreements are met by monitoring queue performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.

Distributing tasks evenly among team members based on their availability and skillset to optimize efficiency.

Coordinating customer inquiries across various channels, ensuring timely responses.

Job Role Specific Requirements:

Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:

Perform moves, adds, changes, and disconnects daily. Troubleshoot any issues.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

NetPlus database knowledge.
