We are looking for a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team and support the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Position Summary

The Junior Bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting with daily financial operations, including the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, supporting month-end processes, and maintaining accurate records for multiple property portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their accounting career and looking to grow within the property management industry.

Key Responsibilities

Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Assist in preparing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Enter invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
Assist with maintaining general ledgers and journal entries
Collaborate with the property management team to ensure accurate financial tracking for each property
Respond to inquiries from vendors, tenants, and property managers
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (property management experience is an asset)
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Yardi, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Team player with a willingness to learn
