Designation: Head of Operations - Weddings & Celebrations
Compensation: 24 to 30 LPA fixed + 4.5 to 6 LPA variable incentives (effectively: INR 28.50 LPA to 36 LPA on offer)

Role Summary
Our client is looking to hire an accomplished professional for the role of Head of Operations - Weddings & Celebrations, who will lead the planning and execution of high-scale wedding and social celebration projects across India and international destinations. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring deep operational expertise, strategic project oversight, and a nuanced understanding of the weddings and social events industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project management, ensuring exceptional delivery standards, and overseeing cross-functional teams including logistics, production, and client servicing. The role also involves active client and vendor management, budget oversight, and ensuring that all projects are executed in line with timelines, aesthetics, and client expectations. With over 12 years of experience in the weddings and celebrations domain, the ideal candidate will bring to this role - a strong vendor ecosystem, a proven track record in delivering large-scale events, and the ability to lead with precision, creativity, and calm under pressure.
Job Description
Project Management
• Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of all weddings and celebrations
• Allocate the right manpower to the right projects-based on scale, client profiles, and team capabilities
• Monitor all timelines and deliverables with a sharp focus on client expectations
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure cost-effective yet innovative execution
• Provide high-level creative direction and troubleshooting during the event life cycle
• Be physically present and command operations at key events, ensuring excellence in delivery
Client & Vendor Management
• Be the escalation point for all operational issues from clients
• Maintain rigorous adherence to payment schedules, both inward and outward
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with top vendors across décor, invites, entertainment, hospitality, and tech production
• Negotiate and onboard vendors to ensure quality and commercial advantages
• Represent the brand with diplomacy and authority at all client touchpoints
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate from any discipline preferred; preference for Event Management or Hospitality backgrounds (open)
Experience:
• Minimum 12 years in the weddings & celebrations segment
• Proven expertise in handling ultra-luxury, large-format events
• Hands-on experience with logistics, production, and client servicing in high-pressure environments

• Strategic planning and decision-making
• Financial acumen with experience in managing large budgets
