Junior Visual Designer

YourStory is seeking a Visual Designer to join our Brand and Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong foundation in design principles and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to a wide range of design projects.

Experience required : 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (internships, freelance work, or

project-based experience will be considered).

Responsibilities
• Design digital creatives for social media, email campaigns, presentations, and online advertisements.
• Assist in the development of visual assets for YourStory IPs, events, and digital promotions.
• Ensure visual consistency across all communication channels in line with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to execute design briefs

effectively.
• Stay open to feedback and actively work on refining and improving design output.
• Manage timelines and deliver high-quality work within set deadlines.

Qualifications And Preferred Skills
• A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of web design and familiarity with Figma and Webflow (good to have).
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, visual storytelling, and a solid grasp of design fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Interest in illustration and motion design is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• High attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative and learn.
