Mō tēnei mahi (About this job)
We are seeking a proactive Kaiāwhina to support our Kaiako in delivering our Te Ara Reo Māori programme within a proactive, supportive, and whānau-based environment. This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) role that starts in January 2025.
As this programme is delivered online, strong technical skills are essential for setting up and managing online classes. You will also provide support to tauira in their learning journey and handle various administrative and coordination tasks related to the programme.
Mōu (About you)
The successful candidate will bring with them:
The ability to converse in Te Reo Māori.
Competency in navigating e-learning methods of delivery and systems.
Confident using Microsoft software.
Proven administrative experience.
Level 4 Te Reo or Tikanga qualifications are advantageous.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
