If your values align with ours then you should definitely read on!A bit about the role…We are looking to boost our Kitchen Design Team in our Porirua store with coverage in the bathroom department for one of the 5 days. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate who understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service to our trade and DIY customers.Kitchens are one of the key inspirational areas within our store with an exciting range of products. This role gives you an opportunity to use your flair to design and sell our kitchen range, helping our customers in all aspects of their kitchen makeover. Whether it is helping our customers design their new kitchen or select the right flat-pack options, along with the right kitchen appliances to suit their needs. You will also be able to grow your knowledge and skills base with working in the bathroom department as wellWorking in the Kitchen department means really listening to our customers' requirements and presenting the right solutions.For this position we are looking for someone who has:

Previous retail experience and experience within this department (designer/cabinet making/joinery) is necessary, along with your ability to draft accurate CAD design in accordance with the customers needs.Coverage will also be required in the bathroom department however majority of the time will be in the office. And A forklift license would be an advantage.Hours for this position are:Tuesday 10.00am -7.00pm, Wednesday 11.00am - 7.00pm, Thursday 7.00am - 3.00pm, Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm, Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pmBeing skilled and knowledgeable does not automatically make you an exceptional Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua.
