Design Interiors Ltd is seeking an experienced kitchen designer to join its team based in Hove.
Designing award winning kitchens, we manufacture premium high end Traditional kitchens in the UK & are a dealer for a leading German kitchen company for Contemporary designs. We work on both residential & commercial projects, designing, supplying & installing not only kitchens, but other fixed furniture such as, wardrobes, TV units & home offices.
We work closely with local architects & building firms but also have our own in-house building team available to reshape and/or extend project spaces.
We pride ourselves on being a design led business offering a personal service. We do not work on a hard sale basis, but sales must be achieved to continue our success, growth & reputation.
We are currently looking for a creative, enthusiastic, & conscientious senior designer to engage & guide clients from initial enquiry through to project completion.
This role requires an experienced and credible designer who can greet new enquiries with confidence, build rapport & understand their needs & style.
You will be required to guide clients through the design process with high product knowledge to present the design & quotation whilst, offering solutions on both design aesthetics & budget bracket to close the sale. You will then keep the contact with the client whilst placing the order & prepare the installation files to pass over to the PM.
Degree in product design, architecture, interior design, or similar interiors related course
· Three years’ experience working for a mid to high-end kitchen company
· Computer software Winner, 2020 Fusion or similar kitchen design software
· Driving licence essential
Visit site to survey accurately & be able to design from architect plans
Build Rapport asking key questions to evaluate the client’s needs, design ideas & specific requirements
Plan, design present & sell inspirational designs relating to the client’s brief & needs whist, offering your own creative design ideas to enthuse & inspire
Manage the database of enquiries & clients effectively with, high organisation & following the company sales pipeline.
Work well within a team in a busy showroom environment
Strong planning & organising skills
A desire for continuous personal and professional development
This role is a full-time permanent role that includes some Saturday’s
