Kitchen Helper/Cashier

Job description
We're Hello Jasmine, a Taiwanese restaurant selling boba tea, bento, and bites. We're now hiring an experienced kitchen staff at our Lincoln Park location.

The Kitchen staff is responsible to produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
· Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
· Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
· Quickly complete opening and closing duties each shift
· Strictly adhere to all Company and government health and safety standards with a focus on Human Safety; Food Safety and Chemical Safety and Sanitation Standards
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Greet customers as they enter

· Take orders while paying attention to details

· Answering customer's questions about the menu and being able to make suggestions for the items based on customer's needs

Education / Qualifications:
· Illinois Food Handler Certificate
· Cooking and Prep experience or Back of the House experience preferred
· Fluent in English / Preferred languages: Mandarin and Spanish
• Job Types: Part-time (weekday and weekend available)

Compensation Package Includes:
• Competitive hourly wage

Pay: $16.60 - $20.00 per hour
