KS1/KS2 Classroom Teacher
Location: Merton, London
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) looking to inspire and shape the minds of young learners? We are seeking an exceptional KS1/KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Merton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for KS1/KS2 pupils in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Implement innovative teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each child.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching KS1/KS2 pupils with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• A commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in the classroom.
• Additional qualifications or specialisms in relevant areas.
