This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Analytics Team within Consumer Products and Services. You will join a team supporting highly visible programs and owning key deliverables that help us progress towards our transformation to offer a more digital and seamless customer experience.
What you’ll do
As an L4 Data management team member on the Analytics team within Consumer Products and Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex cross-functional programs and solving the key problems facing our product managers. Your ability to coordinate between stakeholders and technical teams will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects that deliver tangible value to the organization. You will leverage your expertise in data science, data engineering, telecom infrastructure and home networking to provide insights that increase operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement, ultimately realizing value for TELUS.
Lead the development and maintenance of data analytics dashboards for the Products and Services team
Data engineer pipelines to clean data and prepare for visualization
Access telemetry data from our network elements and analyze the customer impact of those metrics.
Support the development, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models for proactive support of customers experiencing network issues
Use spatial reporting techniques to provide geographic insights
Use exceptional SQL skills to integrate data across many systems
Create actionable insights and reports to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
What you bring
Bechelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field
5+ years of experience working with network telemetry data, and driving/executing on initiatives to reduce costs and improve service delivery
Expert expertise in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Carto) and a working knowledge of SQL including spatial extensions
Advanced Experience scheduling and orchestrating data pipelines
Expertise in programming languages (Python) and knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
Experience with source control (GitHub), experience with AI/ML model development and deployment
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
Salary Range: $104,000-$156,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
