About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Services Manager to join our team, as we continue to expand and grow, requiring a need for a new lead on site.
Main duties will be responsibility for ensuring efficient and effective use of laboratory facilities. You will manage and coordinate all aspects of FM Laboratory Support for several sites, and liaise with various departments to ensure the smooth running of hospital laboratory sites. You will be part of a team that aims to deliver on an optimum configuration of an essential services Laboratory (ESL) and Core Laboratory facilities for HSL/TDL. By reducing facility downtime, you will contribute to a robustness of service that will ultimately improve patient pathways.
Other duties include ensuring oversight of team input and stock management, ensuring all is done in a timely manner.
