Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control and R&D team. The ideal candidate will assist in chemical testing, quality assurance, and process development, ensuring all products meet our stringent quality standards.
This role is crucial in maintaining Texchem’s reputation for precision, quality, and safety in chemical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, prepare reports, and document test results.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Support the R&D team in new product development trials and sample testing.
• Identify and report any deviations or anomalies in test results.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
Requirements:
• Diploma / B.Sc in Chemistry or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a chemical laboratory environment (Freshers welcome).
• Basic understanding of chemical testing methods and laboratory safety standards.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments like ph meters, spectrophotometers, flame photometers, etc., is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
