ALS Geochemistry has an opportunity for a full time Laboratory Technician | HAG Operator to join our XRF team based in Stafford on Brisbane’s northside.
This role will be predominantly working with our HAG-System robot. This role would suit someone with an interest in science and robotics and a problem solver brain.
This role is 12-hour, Day / Night rotating shift pattern.
The day to day responsibilities include:
• Operation and maintenance of automation systems
• Ensure preventative and routine maintenance is carried out as per prescribed schedule following operating manual.
• Resolve operational and/or systems problems to minimise production downtime.
• Implement corrective actions where quality outcomes are compromised.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and statutory requirements.

Forming part of a skilled and high performing XRF team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. • A strong interest in science and robotics; a Science or Trade qualification would be beneficial, but not essential
• Availability to work a 12-hour, Day / Night rotating shift pattern
• Mechanical aptitude
• High level of problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and a great work ethic
