Performs analysis of facility samples using GC, GCMS, ICP, and various analytical laboratory instruments
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Properly manage waste generated as a result of analytical procedures
Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations
Log samples electronically into lab database
Attaches reporting spreadsheet(s) to record
Scans COC and other incoming paperwork and attaches to electronic record
Scans raw data and attaches to electronic record
Manages Lab Supply Room
Receives supplies and reagents
Keeps supply storage tidy and chemical inventory log current
Creates sampling kits (such as stormwater kits)
Manages Sample Storage and disposes of samples
Keeps sample storage organized and tidy
Scans other records and electronically files them, such as GC/MS raw data
Keeps the Chemical Inventory list up to date to comply with OSHA requirement
Assist Chemists as necessary as time permits
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Entry-level Lab Technician that is responsible for the analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. Starting pay is NEW wage, $22.50 an hour, paid weekly. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (or related science) preferred
• Prior experience in a laboratory setting
