Based at our West Burleigh Quarry, we are looking for a responsible and driven individual to join our team as a Quarry Laboratory Technician!  Working independently this role reports to the Quarry Manager - and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, and reporting of results for our quarry-related products.

Your day will involve:


Conduct sampling of Quarry samples on site
Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals.
Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
Other duties as directed by the Quarry Manager


What are we looking for?


Experience as a soil tester
A commitment to safety and quality
Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc).
Good time management and organizational skills
An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
