LABOURER
Council is seeking to appoint a maximum term full time Labourer to contribute to Council’s success.
This position is a maximum term opportunity with a projected end date of January 2026.
+-day fortnight, with your team currently trialling an 8-day fortnight

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by efficiently undertaking construction and maintenance activities of civil infrastructure and undertaking a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks within the Gladstone Region.
You will bring:
Labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.
Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
Basic keyboard skills and experience and competency using technical devices.
Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).

To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have applicable working rights.
This position requires immunisation against Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus.
