Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves performing detailed testing, data collection, and analysis to support our research and development initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to identify performance deviations and occasionally interact with internal and external customers and vendors. Your work will be crucial in advancing our quality control processes and product development.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory tests to assist scientists in qualitative and quantitative analyses of materials.
• Perform routine analyses to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Record data meticulously and create clear and concise charts or graphs.
• Follow work instructions, operating procedures, and test methods with precision.
• Maintain and clean laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Contribute to a safe work environment by participating in safety programs and conducting safety audits.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders.
• Utilize hand tools to determine durability, strength, and density parameters of materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 1-3 years of related laboratory experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Technical Diploma is a plus.
Skills & Behavior:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage documentation for multiple experiments simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Logical and reasoned approach to completing tasks.
• High attention to detail and keen observational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
