Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complex owner inquiries and transfers, preparing essential documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of estate laws and related legal documents, along with exceptional research and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle complex owner inquiries and manage ownership transfers effectively.
• Prepare division orders, prior period adjustments, exhibits, petitions, and split agreements.
• Review and interpret complicated title documents to create multi-tiered chains of title.
• Collaborate with the Minerals Management Service (MMS) of the Department of the Interior in report preparation and responding to inquiries regarding wells with MMS/BLM interests.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and compliance of documents.
• Undertake special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
• 8-10 years of experience in land administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of estate laws and associated legal documents.
• Proficient in various legal documents, including leases, deeds, contracts, and limitations.
• Excellent research, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Land Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Must have Oil and Gas Experience
Location: Remote or Local to Pennsylvania
Pay: TBD
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
