position: Lead Data Architect/Data Modeler with Experience in Microsoft Full Stack Engineering (Data bricks experience a plus)
Duration:3 months
Location: Remote.
We are seeking a Lead Data Architect/Data Modeler with experience in Microsoft Full Stack Engineering for a new development project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server, producing conceptual, logical and physical database designs. In addition, the candidate will have experience working with multiple feature teams and engineers as well as working with offshore DBAs. Experience with Microsoft technology stack, data migration, reporting services, integration services, data quality and analysis, test automation with SQL DB, data modeling, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptual, logical and physical database design using SQL Server and other relevant technologies.
• Analyze existing databases, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain controls for data quality.
• Work with the team to migrate historical data to a new environment.
• Set up standards for database development, maintenance, and operations.
• Develop data models that focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that database design meets project requirements.
• Test and automate database scripts and procedures to ensure data integrity and performance.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in SQL Server DBA, including database design, development, maintenance, and optimization.
• Expertise in Microsoft Full Stack technologies, including .NET, C#, , MVC, and Web API.
• Experience with data migration, ETL, and integration services, such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with reporting services, such as SSRS, Power BI and Tableau for creating visualizations and reports.
• Strong skills in data analysis, data quality, and data modeling, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ER/Studio.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and techniques for SQL DB.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Demonstrated experience in applying DevSecOps best practices within an Agile software development environmentZZ
