Responsibilities
Responsible for creating, implementing, and advocating technical strategy for Jack in the Box and Del Taco across all restaurant spaces
This role, in concert with stakeholders develops, implements, maintains, and improves solutions and processes affecting daily restaurant operations
It also ensures alignment to business goals and technology standards, frameworks, and methodologies
Translates a variety of business demands into effective technology and process utilization through both initiative and product engagements
Guides development of architecture blueprints and roadmaps integrating critical systems to create a cohesive restaurant technology ecosystem
Evaluates and recommends technologies providing scalability, resilience, enhance menu operations and strategy, speed of service, order accuracy, and a streamlined customer experience
Works with stakeholders to understand solution goals and translates them into architectural principles and guidelines
Works in partnership with operations and marketing teams to understand pain points and design technical solutions to address them
Collaborates with project/product teams to ensure restaurant solutions align with enterprise architecture goals and adheres to standards
Works with internal teams and service providers to optimize delivery and integration of systems
Guides the adoption of best practices, innovative technologies, and industry standards within the restaurant space
Provides guidance on technology investments, assessing the impact on restaurants and ensuring alignment with long-term business goals
Stays current with emerging restaurant technologies such as IoT (monitoring and automation), and AI (productivity enhancement and demand forecasting)

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The range for this position is $141,+00 - $1+8,700 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
