The Lead Logistics Manager is responsible for all Logistics Operations and for supervising all Logistics contractor staff
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (high-level overview not intended to capture every task):
Supervise contract logistics staff in activities associated with Equipment Management Programs (TMDE/Calibration, MHE, Mobile Maintenance, Tool Crib/Room) receiving, shipping, storage, property book operations, turn-in excess equipment (cradle to grave), delivering, moving and set-up of equipment and events as a working supervisor
Supervise Supply Clerk in assuring accurate inventory records of excess equipment
Plan and revise work schedules to ensure an even workflow and assure priority cases are handled expeditiously
Coordinate with the COR and Program Manager regarding logistics priorities, procedures, and accomplishments
Shall operate a forklift, vehicle or box truck to perform daily tasks while delivering materials or equipment
Shall pick-up and deliver (within a 30-mile radius) off-post materials and equipment as directed
Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders and maintain all safety standards
(DOD, ARMY, OSHA, ANSI, other industry identified)
Shall handle and transport materials, equipment, and related items for offices, warehouses, and related special events
Shall provide and complete required monthly data/reports for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all programs identified to include Warehouses, Equipment Management Programs, and Property Book Operations
Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format
Resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies and procedures
Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail
Oversee training and mandatory certification/s for contract logistics staff and provide technical guidance when necessary
Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format
Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested
Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers
Shall work directly with Government Team Lead daily and, on a case-by-case basis with the Government Logistics Division Chief/Director
Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY
and works in both bending and standing positions for extended periods of time and
