Responsibilities
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles and maintaining our fleet of sweeper trucks
This is a +-5PM shift with some flexibility and every other Saturday shift
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on street cleaning vehicles, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as failures or malfunctions
Inspect and maintain the electrical systems of the vehicles, ensuring all components are functioning correctly and safely
Work with a variety of maintenance tools to repair or replace faulty parts
Conduct regular inspections of street cleaning vehicles to ensure they meet all safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate records of each vehicle's maintenance and repair history
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
Provide recommendations for improving the efficiency and performance of the vehicles
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technology to ensure the highest level of service

The Senior Diesel Mechanic position is a critical role in our company. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles and maintaining our fleet of sweeper trucks.
