Our head office in Auckland is a modern, functional space overlooking the Viaduct, and just a 5 minute walk from Britomart’s central transport hub. We’ve also got access to co-working spaces across New Zealand and Australia, to cater to some of our team and clients in different regions.
The role
Here at ClearPoint, we are looking for a Lead / Principal Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) to join our Platform Engineering team. In this key technical role, you will deliver and shape Cloud services for our clients, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, driving excellence in solution architecture, DevOps practices, and engineering delivery. As a thought leader, you will help steer the growth of our Cloud practice, provide critical technical guidance in early phase solution design, and lead a high performing team tackling complex challenges.
The experience we’re looking for:
8+ years of extensive experience with public cloud platforms is a must have - in particular Microsoft Azure
Experience with Container technologies & practices e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, or Prometheus
Continuous integration/delivery/deployment - e.g. ADO, Github Actions, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, or Circle C
Deployment and automation tools - Terraform, VSTS, NuGet, Maven, Groovy, or Ansible
Unix / Linux administration including scripting with Bash and/or Python
Strong Network infrastructure skills
Background in programming and or scripting using languages like Java, .Net, Groovy, Python, or GoLang
Database administration and support - MySQL, MS SQL server, PostgresSQL etc.
Experience with E2E testing frameworks Eg. Cucumber / Specflow
