Job Description:
Novel Jewels Limited is a newly launched business within the Group which aims to create an aspirational national jewellery brand with a strong regional flavour.

India's gems and jewellery market contributes approximately 7% to the GDP and is expected to reach US$ 70 Billion by 2026. The jewellery industry in India is largely driven by individual family-owned businesses with very few national brands. Novel Jewels Limited, will invest about Rs.4000-5000 crore to build a country-wide network of large format exclusive stores.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for entire sourcing for all jewellery products for all category in studded and will be responsible product performance from vendor end in right quality & cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing

Strategic Sourcing – The vendor framework model needs to be developed using different frameworks and plan out the different engagement strategies with vendor partners.
New Vendor Evaluation – Vendor evaluation report considering all the technical, commercial and softer aspects.
Cost Management – Structured way of costing the products and must lead the cost management and LC matrix for all VPs to ensure cost under control.
Vendor Bank Creation – Vendor bench to be created in different skill sets to ensure that supply risk is minimum.

Performance Management:

Lead Time & IH Days Reduction – Ensure delivery is ascertained at minimum lead time and inventory holding days
Volume & DDP – Ensure volumes are met as per front ends requirement with prioritization of different products.
Ensure Vendor performance review

Person Profile:

1. Candidate should have at least 5 - 7 years of experience in sourcing in the Jewellery industry.

2. Strong background in sourcing, vendor management and business acumen in a leading jewellery organization. Knowledge about Jewellery Mfg., Trends, Category Know How and NPD.

3. Educational Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate

3-7 Years
