RESPONSIBILITIES
• Single point of contact for businesses and geographies on GBS footprint
• Work with businesses to understand their strategic locations for growth and chalk out GBS footprint strategy
• Assess opportunities in south east Asian markets and north India and arrive at resilient location strategy for 35,000 staff GBS operations
• Support development and drive execution of GBS Strategy 2025 program
• Lead efforts to build GBS Philippines and GBS Bangladesh entity set up and office set up to business growth in relevant geographies
• Lead efforts to mobilise 15,000+ staff to shift operations from existing Chennai buildings and move into the new Marina facility with no business risks on delivery
• Develop and execute footprint optimization plan for 35,000 staff across all hubs with right balance to seat cost and seat availability
• Ensure SU levels and deliver Footprint optimization benefits across GBS hubs, without productivity issues to service delivery teams
• Accountable for achieving optimization benefits working along with regional property teams and business units
• Serve as thought leader for processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
• Active contribution to Location strategy initiatives across GBS and group
• Ensure seat supply to the planned and ad-hoc demand (set processes to manage ad-hoc seat demands)
• Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
• Perform reviews and analyses of current processes and systems using business and operations performance metrics and reports, and proactively suggesting improvements which create sustainable business value.

Scope of the Role:
• Manage Location set ups and optimization for GBS. The cost of this role will be shared across different set up projects (PACMAN, Shapla, Marina etc).
• Support Head, Right shoring enablement and Head of GBS Property to work closely with stakeholders towards project planning and overall project governance, including optimization of existing locations
• Other than above roles, job holder should follow other job duties and responsibilities assigned by line manager from time to time.
• Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor degree from a reputable university
• Minimum of 13+ years experience in banking field, with proven track record in leadership role in Project Management of Information Technology projects
• Have experience setting up offfices for similar captive centers
• Have knowledge of structured project management methodologies such as PMI PMBOK and must be experienced in applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, concepts, and techniques.
• In-depth experience in Change, Vendor and Resources management.
• Experience in project planning, process improvement, performance measurement, and managing a project life cycle.
• Have exposure or experience in migrations or supporting migrations teams
• Strong analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong influencing skills with strong team orientation.
• Able to handle multi-tasks, manage time effectively and perform under pressure.
• Able to work at flexible hours and travel
• Project Management and/ Agile experience/ certification
