Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience developing in C#/.NET, with a strong emphasis on .NET Core
Extensive experience with event-based systems and architecture
Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain customer-facing, cloud-based production software on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with code management and repositories such as GIT and Azure DevOps
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience deploying products leveraging these methodologies
Team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals
Excellent communication skills with technical audiences as well as non-technical
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
Interest in mTLS and cybersecurity technologies

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion
Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience
The expected Base Salary Range: $123,700 - $1+8,650
The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware and systems engineering, to deliver integrated solutions
Drive the adoption of DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
Ensure system reliability and maintainability through robust design and best practices
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Stay abreast of the latest developments in encryption algorithms and cybersecurity to enhance system security
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to software development best practices and coding standards
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development and apply them to enhance our software applications

What You’ll Do
• Design and implement distributed systems that communicate via asynchronous messages and event streams using platforms such as Kafka and Azure Event Hubs.

What You Need To Succeed
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline) or equivalent in years of relevant work experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience developing in C#/.NET, with a strong emphasis on .NET Core.
• Extensive experience with event-based systems and architecture.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain customer-facing, cloud-based production software on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with code management and repositories such as GIT and Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience deploying products leveraging these methodologies.
• Team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals

• Preferred:
