Our Engineering team builds a product that genuinely delights our customers, improving their daily operations in the supply chain and logistics industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and North America. As we continue with our global expansion, our Mobile Development team is at the forefront of shaping our mobile experience, ensuring our customers can seamlessly manage logistics on the go.

Our Role

We have an open position for a Lead Software Engineer to take ownership of our mobile strategy and execution. This is a hands-on role where you will drive the Flutter development practices, oversee the ongoing support of native applications, and establish best practices that ensure long-term maintainability and scalability. You will collaborate closely with product, and business stakeholders to align mobile development with business goals, while mentoring and empowering the mobile team to elevate their technical skills.

Your responsibilities will include:



Lead the development of the Flutter app and its integration with existing native iOS and Android apps;

Support native app development while providing ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and support for existing systems and platforms;

Establish and enforce best practices for mobile development;

Actively engage in the mentoring and skills development of our team;

Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align with our strategic goals;

Oversee triage and BAU processes, ensuring mobile issues are efficiently managed and resolved.



To be successful, we are looking for:


Extensive experience in designing and architecting scalable, high-performance mobile applications, ensuring maintainability and long-term success;

Expertise in Flutter development, with a strong grasp of native iOS (preferred) or Android development principles and best practices;

Hands on experience with REST APIs and integrating backend services;

Proficiency with state management solutions such as Riverpod;

Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, architect resilient solutions, and drive technical excellence.

Proven expertise in core mobile application design and development frameworks is essential for success in this leadership role, with a tertiary qualification in computer science highly regarded.
