Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is based in Bangalore, India and is engaged in the development of advanced aerospace and aviation technologies and software products.

Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions India team is currently looking for Test Architect, to join their team in Bengaluru, KA as a Lead Test Architect within our Testing. As A Service within the Platform Engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the testing architecture and strategies for the India site. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and execution of robust and scalable test frameworks.

Position Responsibilities:
• Define and implement the testing strategy for all the applications in Digital Aviation Solutions India team.
• Design & development of AI-augmented, software-testing tools/framework using AI technologies, such as machine learning (ML)
• Design and implement test architecture for automated and manual testing processes.
• Develop and maintain a scalable test framework to support various testing needs.
• Define and implement strategy / tools for Performance and Security Testing for the Test Platform organization.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and ensure testability.
• Collaborate with Test Architects in across sites to evolve the strategy.
• Define and implement testing best practices, standards, and guidelines across projects.
• Evaluate and select testing tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities.
• Create and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks in the testing process.
• Mentor and guide the testing team in adopting best practices and staying updated on industry trends.
• Continuously improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other architects to align testing strategies with overall system architecture.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar role within a test platform organization
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Excellent understanding of system architecture and software design principles.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional testing areas.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for testing improvement.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
• Experience in building data driven test framework.
• Experience in testing/validating AI/ML based Systems
• Experience in testing/validating data driven solutions build using frameworks like Databricks, Data warehouse systems.
• Knowledge of Aeronautical data / Aerospace / Aviation domain is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Testing Methodologies include BDD, TDD, keyword-driven testing etc.
• Cloud Platforms include Azure, AWS, GCP
• ALMs tools include Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, HP ALM etc.
• Exposure to programming languages include Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, etc.
• Test Automation frameworks/tools include Selenium, Cucumber etc.
• Performance Testing tools include Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling etc.
• Security Testing tools include Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP), Netsparker, SonarQube etc.

Typical Education & Experience:

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: bachelor’s with 15 to 18 years' experience, Master's degree with 10+ years' experience. Bachelor, Master, or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering.
