About this Position
As a seasoned professional with 4+ years of experience working on cutting-edge technologies like Python/Django/Node, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of scalable backend systems.
The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as proficiency in Unix and bash scripting. Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration/containerization expertise is also highly desirable.
You will work closely with your team to design and implement high-quality back-end APIs, create efficient database schemas, and contribute to production deployments. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization is crucial.
Main Responsibilities
• Technical Leadership: Translate business ideas/user stories into technical problems to solve.
• API Design and Implementation: Designing and implementing the back-end APIs for our services, creating and implementing database schemas that represent and support our business processes.
• System Design: Design systems for high accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Deployment and Maintenance: Contribute to production deployments, including documentation of technical specifications and release notes.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization.
• Error Debugging: Reverse engineer for debugging errors in code and ensuring quality control in the process.
• Mentorship: Mentoring and guiding the team members.
