RBC Wealth Management Canada is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join the Life Insurance department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing one-on-one and team training to RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc. (WMFS) branch teams. In helping them perform at their best, you will be essential in, delivering application-based training, sharing best practices and consistently supporting them with the tools and resources needed to increase efficiency and identify opportunities.

What will you do?

Provide one-on-one and team training sessions in-person and virtually via the WebEx conferencing system.
Aptitude toward learning new software, ability to multitask and ability to demonstrate and present essential information in a concise way.
Above average inter-personal skills, including the entrepreneurial perspectives of Estate Planning Specialists.
Able to work from your home/work office and able to travel locally and across Canada when required.
Strong public speaker; comfortable and able to clearly facilitate and deliver a message to a moderate sized group of peers.
Experience in a training or coaching capacity, along with a consulting and problem-solving skill set.
Train and coach learners on relevant tasks and business applications related to processing Insurance new business submission (in-house CRM system & Insurance carrier systems), Insurance policy servicing, and Business Development.
Be a Subject Matter Expert in guiding learners on how to use business applications to the best of their ability.
Spot opportunities and facilitate the sharing of best practices to help branch teams increase efficiency and scale their business
Learn new applications along with their business relevance, strategy and benefits.
Provide support for any future technology changes or releases as they occur.
Deliver presentations to provide timely updates and support branch initiatives.
Participate in various ‘special team’ initiatives or projects as they occur.
Must Have:

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Life Insurance industry.
1 to 3 years of some type of training or coaching experience
Nice to Have

In-branch Life Insurance experience with understanding of life insurance carriers applications, Illustrations, Inforce servicing, and tasks.
French language skills (speaking, reading and writing)
