Location: Elkford Secondary School, Elkford, BC

Contract Type: Full-time Continuing (1.0 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $$63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.





Job Summary:

Learning Services Teacher - Grades 7-12 & Electives Teacher (Junior Science)


1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 2, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process. 0.50 FTE of this position will be as a Learning Services Teacher, and 0.50 FTE of this position will be as an Electives (Jr. Science) Teacher.

Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Student Services/Special Education. Experience at the Secondary level would be considered an asset. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Science at the Middle School level.


Please note that all work will be on site.
